The space We welcome you to relax in our Green Cottage located at the start of the river rafting trail. Enjoy your coffee in the heart of nature as you take in the sound of the roaring river rapids below. Take a walk through our garden and farm or swim in the beautiful infinity pool as birds trill, flowers blossom and the river runs by. Within the beautiful scenery : the steps down to the river invite you to take a refreshing swim or set off on an adventure kayaking or rafting down one of the most exhilarating white water trails in the world! While nature offers you a pleasant stay our cottage provides a laid back lodging due to its facilities : warm water, electricity (generator & backup battery inverter), and fully equipped kitchen. The house in detail : big living room with cosy couches and armchairs, bathroom, kitchen with dining area, open veranda with ample seating for lounging while taking in the panoramic views and echoing sounds of the roaring nile. If you like to Barbeque you can do that out the front of the house in front of the river and eat outside in a covered veranda. All year round you can go fishing, swim in the refreshing river or the large infinity pool, or relax at the firepit area or sit in the 'G'n'T Tower' and enjoy the view, especially at sunset/rise. The special extra : the neighbours – you won’t get by without tasting some of their fresh products : fresh fish, milk, eggs and plenty fresh fruit and veggies on the adjoining farm of the cottage. Guest access The cottage is off the beaten track so after booking we will provide you with a link to the map. We recommend our guests use a vehicle that can withstand off road conditions as the marram road can often be muddy, especially in the rainy season! Isaac can arrange transport for you from Jinja if you do not have your own car, at an extra cost. There is plenty of space for parking inside the compound. Isaac can also help with shopping, hiring private chef, taxis(private hire) /boda, white water rafting or tubing, quad biking and many other fun activities.
