Just minutes drive to local towns and beaches of Carmel and Monterey, 45 minutes drive to Big Sur and Santa Cruz, your home away is perfectly located to offer both proximity to the many choice destinations of California's central coast and a private setting. The home is situated on our private property on which there are two other homes, neither of which have views into the rental. Wonderful as a luxurious accommodation for two, with a spacious master bedroom and bathroom, each room accesses a deck and has views overlooking pine/oak forests and the ocean. For this reason there is no drapery in the common room, only in the bedroom. This would be an equally ideal setting as an executive respite. Wood floors, beamed ceilings, modern kitchen, restoration hardware stlye farmhouse dining table and wood burning stove all combine to create a chic modern but rustic feel. Now our home features a Santa Maria rock terrace overlooking stunning ocean and forest views and the opportunity to socialize and celebrate around a fire in the outdoor fire pit or barbecue using the Weber. This experience will totally knock your socks off. Guest access Check in between 4-6 PM STRICT because we greet you in person, unless other plans prearranged. Garage available for parking We don't charge a cleaning fee and therefore appreciate our guests leaving our home tidy on departure Other things to note No children. Our home is very private and both the common room and master bedroom overlook magical fields and forests. We have therefore left the view side of our home open without window coverings.
