Romantic seclusion with lake water lapping.

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER The space The bed in our hut is a king size (180cm x200cm). The hut is well heated and cosy whatever the weather. The bathroom is real size and has all necessities. The kitchen is basic and it will provide you with a small oven and two electric rings. A kettle is provided along with plates, mugs, glasses, cutlery and you’ll have the use of a BBQ and all it’s equipment. We provide a sanctuary for RED SQUIRRELS : you'll be able to watch them feed. You might also see a KINGFISHER or an OTTER Pets may be allowed but only after consulting the hosts. The space in the hut is quite small and not suitable for couples with children. The outdoors of the hut, on our grounds, is magnificent: you will have the solitary use of two decking areas on the lake and a third one to share with us. When the weather suits we’ll provide you with a pit fire on the main jetty. We have two bicycles for you to use. There is good trout and pike fishing in the lake. Horse riding, surfing and golf in nearby Bundoran, plus lots of walking trails even from the house. A list of restaurants and pubs is available in the hut if we don’t have the chance to meet. According to availability we offer a home made dinner for you to re-heat in your own time and space… check with us for menu and prices. Orders will be accepted before 1 o’clock. Guest access Our guests have access to the garden hut through a path in our garden. They can use the spaces around the hut but are also welcome to enjoy our garden and jetty on the lake.
