Our home is ideally located; close to downtown, beaches, and everything else Sarasota has to offer. It is a veritable tropical paradise in a wonderful neighborhood. The room & private bath are divided by pocket doors to the separate wing. Our house has recently undergone a major renovation with a very contemporary and upgraded kitchen. The exterior has also been improved with beautiful new landscaping. The space is private but guests can access the lanai and all outdoor areas including lovely front patio. Guests have a private area of the house, but they are also welcome to enjoy sitting on the lanai and outdoor sitting areas. The amount of interaction is completely open to guests. We love having people as our guests, but we also recognize that privacy is important too. We have had some guests who quickly felt like they were family and others who are more reserved. Our neighborhood is unique and special. It is a lovely little enclave right off of route 41 and very close to downtown. A walk through our little neighborhood also reveals a lovely pond where one can encounter egrets, herons, turtles, and ducklings on any given day. We are also right next to Whitiker Park, a great place to walk and see a magnificent sunset very close to our beautiful Sarasota Bay. It is best to have your own vehicle, but many guests are now using Uber a lot to get around. Uber drivers have no trouble finding us. We are 5 minutes from the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport. Sarasota offers so much to do. Not only are the beaches the best in the world, but there is always something going on--Ringling Museum, Sarasota Opera House, Van Wezel Performance Center, Selby Gardens, Myakka State Park, Mote Marine, Florida Studio Theater, Jungle Gardens, Asolo Theater, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, UTC Mall, Benderson Park, Sarasota Film Festival, etc. etc.
