Thandizani school accommodation is situated in the village of Simoonga, Livingstone. With 7 double rooms, our well-prepared accommodation is ideal for travelers who want to enjoy an authentic rural experience in an environment surrounded with nature, kids and heart-warming people without surrendering tranquility and commodity with a fully prepared kitchen and bathroom. By staying here you support our non-profit school where travelers can also volunteer with the children and support the project. The space The accommodation is located on a pure land that offers a full defined African aroma. The site has 9 chalets comprising of single, twin and double rooms. There is also a self-catering kitchen available to travelers who want to do the cooking themselves. The place is electrified, and internet is available every day. There is free access to community visits and staff are available to facilitate any tour and safari that travelers want to do given that the camp is located in the tourist capital near the Victoria falls, wildlife national park... We run a community school that offers free education to the underprivileged children. Clients can volunteer at the school if they so desire or merely interact with the children. Guest access The accommodation is part of the school premise, being surveyed 24h/7. By staying in our rooms you are welcome to see the school and volunteer your skills: Art, teaching, drama... The school is a non-profit project as a way of helping the community and kids of the area. With over 350 children and 29 volunteer staff, we run solely on what we manage to make from the schools rooms, merch and donation. As a tenant you have no obligation to donate or volunteer, even though, both are open options. During your stay The campsite has personnel that are present 24 hours everyday to attend to the clients needs as they arise. Other things to note Thandizani Campsite is available for everyone. It offers equanimity and volunteering space at the school. Clients will have the privilege to teach and in return learn local dialects and culture. The school offers many volunteering opportunities in teaching, sports, poetry, chess and the clients have the prerogative to introduce and add to the curriculum.
