Auberge Agdal in the High Atlas Mountains

Seductive 8 bedroom hostel with bathrooms. It is 130 km from Marrakech, 1900m above sea level near the village of Telouet. Several Berber villages around the hostel. Resting stay or departure on a hike to the Atlas. The space A construction made with local materials,by the artisans of the village: mountain stone, red earth for the interior walls, pink laurel and reed wooden ceilings, birch beams. Theall is inspired by the Berber spirit and its ancestral traditions. The garden,entirely organic, offers a variety of aromatic and medicinal plants. It's a haven of peace where it's good to rest. The roof terrace is ideal for practicing yoga from April to October. Guest access The bedrooms, living room, patio, garden shed and terrace are open to guests. They can also help make traditional dishes in the kitchen. During your stay We are available to provide guests with all the information they want about the area,the surrounding villages,the Berber lifestyle, possible hikes from the hostel with or without a guide. Other things to note We can, on request,organize mini-stages for small groups: making traditional bread,making a dirt and straw oven, carpet weaving,preparing Moroccan dishes.
