Welcome to your home away from home in Carlsbad! We proudly provide our guests with a comfortable, beautiful, spacious, and immaculate home. Our favorite part of hosting is providing a place to make beautiful memories with family & friends that will last a lifetime. ***Please note: All guests must honor quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, and be respectful to our house & our neighbors.*** The space Less than a mile from the beach, and only 3 miles from Legoland, this Olde Carlsbad gem is the perfect place for family and friends to call their home away from home. Groceries are a short one-minute walk, and Starbucks, Leucadia Pizza, and the Village Pie Shop are less than a 5-minute walk from our home. Full details of each of the spaces are listed below. All rooms with televisions include access to Hulu+ Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN+ as well as Amazon Prime Video. The home also has central air conditioning (rare for Carlsbad!) and heating. And almost every room in the house has a ceiling fan to keep you cool and comfortable. Fast, free WiFi is included in the home. There is a brand new bank of EV chargers (EVgo) located just steps from our home in the Vons parking lot. The Living Room: The living room has beautiful bay windows, a large 65" Smart HD TV, blue ray DVD player and a gas fireplace. Dining Room/Kitchen: There is a huge table with room enough for 8-10 people, and a sliding glass door to let in the cool ocean breezes. The kitchen is oversized with plenty of what you need to cook for everyone at home. Backyard: There is a large patio table with room for 8 people cooled by an overhead fan. The jacuzzi has enough room for 6 adults, with color changing LED lights, waterfall feature and plenty of jets. The outdoor fire pit is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine at night, or make s'mores (with or without the kids!). There is also a large gas BBQ for outdoor grilling. The backyard retreat lights up at night with cafe lights throughout. A water fountain provides the soothing sounds of running water. And there is a surfboard shower for a whimsical and warm rinse after a day at the beach! Front Yard: There are Adirondack chairs for enjoying the Carlsbad breezes, and a small lawn for the kids to enjoy as well. Rooms: The largest ensuite bedroom is downstairs, and includes a King-size bed and an attached bathroom with a private shower. There is a 32" HD TV and beautiful French doors with private access to the patio. The second downstairs bedroom includes a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa, as well as a 49" flat screen HD TV. Another half bath is located downstairs for communal use. The upstairs ensuite bedroom has a queen bed and an attached bathroom with a private shower. There is a 32" HD TV. The 3rd bedroom (upstairs) has a queen bed and a 32" HD TV. The 4th bedroom (upstairs) has two twin beds (and even an extra trundle bed) and kid-friendly décor. There is a 3rd bathroom in the upstairs hallway with a full tub/shower. Proximity: • 3/4 mile to beautiful Tamarack State Beach • 1/4 mile to Agua Hedionda Lagoon, where you can enjoy water sports like jet skiing, water skiing, and wakeboarding. Or you can venture to the quieter side and peacefully paddleboard and kayak. • 3 miles from Legoland • Convenient and close proximity to Carlsbad Village, Carlsbad Premium Outlets and the Carlsbad Flower Fields • Golfing, dining and shopping are also close by • The Oceanside pier and harbor are a 10-minute drive north, and the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, San Diego Airport and more are approx. 30 minutes South • Within immediate walking distance are a grocery store, drugstore, Leucadia Pizzeria, Starbucks and the Village Pie Shop. Other things to note Our home is secured with a digital lock, and your personalized code will be included in the entry instructions. We will send you entry instructions for the home a day or two before your arrival. Before your departure, please refer to the exit procedures located in the home manual on the kitchen counter. Please also be sure to sign out of your Amazon and Netflix accounts if you used them during your stay. Our home has a current business license and short-term rental permit with the city of Carlsbad.
