Located in central Palm Springs, this adorable Midcentury Modern private guest house was built in '71 and refreshed to match our '60 house. Set-up just a like a hotel room (270 sq ft) with private entrance, patio, small fire-pit, lounge area, and private outdoor shower. There is a small kitchenette (no cooking). Great for singles & couples. Adults only. Includes access to main yard, shared pool & a new spa! LGBTQ owned/operated. Neighborhood has a remarkable collection of midcentury homes! The space ABOUT THE SPACE: with floor to ceiling glass panels that slide open to a mountain view and private patio, this space makes it easy to unwind. Inside the guest house is a small kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee maker. No stove/ no oven. Small dining table and two chairs. Fast WiFi (>200mbps), YouTube TV (85 channels) on a 4K Samsung TV. An open closet with drawers to unpack, along with a beautiful bathroom. Shower has a large rain-head with a window view of palm trees. King size memory-foam mattress, extra pillows, and a strong AC unit for cool comfort even in the summer heat. Guest access You also have access to our main backyard thru a garden gate directly from your private patio. The main backyard is a shared space (with just us) that offers a sparkling pool, jetted spa, lounge chairs, and gardens. Adults only. Pool area is swimsuit optional, if you enjoy that. The pool and spa are both available 24/7. The spa heats up quickly with the push of a button. We are happy to also heat the pool upon request. Please note our seasonal policy for the pool: April – September (Warm Season) - Upon request, no charge. - When heated, the temperature is approximately 87ºF. October – March (Cool Season) - A charge is applied to help offset heating costs. - The fee is $100 per day (2-day minimum). Other things to note BASICS: Check in is after 3PM. Check out is before 11AM. Adults only. Max 2 people. Pool and yard are swimsuit optional. No parties or events. No pets. NO SMOKING: No smoking inside the guest house. Smoking outside (with the doors closed) is allowed. Cig butts are to be disposed of properly and not left anywhere on the property. Any violation of the smoking policy will incur a $1,000 Additional "Smoke Damage" Cleaning Fee to remove smoke odors from the guest house, furniture, draperies, and/or linens. CATS HERE & THERE: Our friendly indoor/outdoor cat, named Chatty Cathy ("Cathy"), may visit you in our backyard or even in your private patio. Our yard and property have become a sanctuary for Cathy, as well as some other displaced and wary community cats, including Jane, Elroy, Black Kitty, Grandpa, Doppelgänger 1, and Doppelgänger 2. GETTING AROUND: Highly recommend renting a car, or using Uber/Lyft. Palm Springs is like a typical SoCal town and not well designed for foot traffic (sidewalks come and go, roads shrink and expand, nighttime street lighting is poor, etc). But the good news - everything in Palm Springs is only 5 to 10 minutes away by car! PARKING: Street parking is ample. Registration Details City ID 3868
