Ghanzi Farmhouse

Enjoy a unique stay in a historic farmhouse on a quiet, scenic cattle farm. You can self cater or we can provide dinner. The farmhouse is ideal for both short and long stays offering a lovely swimming pool, fast WiFi, work areas, endless space to yourself and a nearby pond, which attracts a variety of birds and wildlife. Located 1km off the A3, between Ghanzi (Gantsi) and D'kar. Both bedrooms are air conditioned and have queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms. The space Only a ten minute drive from Ghanzi, 1km off the A3 toward Maun, perfect for self-drive visitors from Namibia, S.A. or southern Botswana to Maun and Okavango. Also a great, out of town, stay for business visitors to Ghanzi. It is also a serene natural environment for a longer, quiet, relaxing stay in the bush while enjoying home comforts. There are two lounges, an enclosed veranda, as well as shady and sunny areas in the garden where you can socialize, read and relax. Guest access The entire house is available for guests. Please treat it as your own home. The two air-conditioned bedrooms with queen sized beds and en-suite bathrooms accommodate two couples comfortably. (There are two single beds on the enclosed veranda that can be used for two more guests if you wish, but they will have to use one of the en-suite bathrooms to bath or shower - although there is a separate guest toilet). There are two lounge/dining areas and an enclosed veranda. Breakfast is included. Supper and lunch need to be pre-arranged, and will be at extra cost. Guests can also self-cater. Basics like tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper are always available. The vegetable garden usually has various vegetables and herbs, which you are free to use. You will need to bring your own drinks. If you plan to cater for yourself for lunch or supper, you will need to bring the ingredients with you. The nearest shop is in Ghanzi. The kitchen is equipped, with fridges, ice-maker, oven, gas hob, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. A washing machine and dryer are available. Other things to note Excellent Starlink WiFi. Cellphone reception is poor. 220V power is available 24/7. Each bedroom has an adaptor for most electrical plugs and a USB port.
