Seahorse Cottage is a lovingly restored wooden Nevisian-style cottage. Moved several times, this 100-year old cottage has finally come to rest in Ramsbury, a short 20 minute walk into Charlestown and shopping. There are views of the Caribbean Sea and harbour The space Prior uses include family home, art gallery and gift shop and artist studio – this one bedroom cottage now is the perfect Caribbean hideaway. It has its own private gated entrance on 1 ½ acres of fenced garden and has 1200 square feet of living space including covered verandahs. Throughout there are louvered windows and high ceilings with fans,. Western views from the veranda are of the Caribbean Sea, St. Kitts, Statia, and Saba. Watch the ferries and cruise boats pull into harbor. The living room is tastefully furnished with comfortable seating, reading library, games, CD player and a selection of CDs. There is beautiful original artwork throughout. The kitchen is completely equipped with a full sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, blender, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes, BBQ, etc. To the rear of the cottage there is a “secret garden” with a garden bench– all designed for utmost privacy. The bedroom has an antique queenb-sized bed with mosquito netting, screened-windows, ceiling fan, cable T.V. with DVD player and a selection of DVDs. The spacious walk-in closet has a washer/dryer, linens, towels, extra pillows. Amenities: Queen-sized bed, Cable TV & Wireless Internet, DVD and CD player, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, sofa bed , BBQ, cell phone provided. Use of the owner's swimming pool. Guest access While "Seahorse Cottage" is very separate from the owners home and not visible, cottage guests are always welcome to wander thru the mature gardens and use the pool.
