This cottage has been in our family for more than a generation - it boasts stunning views over Lough Mask and offers a beautiful space for up to 6 persons - families, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts will all have a great time here! The Cottage is located outside the village of Clonbur, in beautiful Connemara. Enclosed in pristine nature, the lush grassland, its stone walls, hills, mountains, as well as two of the largest lakes in Ireland invite you to relax and enjoy the house and nature. The space This rustic, detached cottage is situated on a large piece of land, just outside the village of Clonbur. If you want to relax and unwind in pure tranquility then this is the perfect place. The cottage enjoys a remarkable secluded position overlooking Lough Mask. You get the whole cottage, surrounded by almost an acre of land overlooking the lake. You can do lots of outdoor actitivies close by: fishing, horseback riding, hiking, hunting, fine dining or golfing - you name it! Enjoy your stay! The Cottage offers • 3 bedrooms for up to 4 adults and 2 children (3 double beds) • a baby cot and a booster seat for kids • a fully equipped kitchen (electrical stove, sink, baking oven, fridge, etc.) • a living room with an open fire place and a good stereo (you can connect your iPhone/MP3 player to the stereo through an existing cable via the headphone plug) • a recently modernized bathroom with shower and – of course – hot water. A blow-dryer is available as well as a new washer-dryer. • another large dining room (winter garden) with amazing views • a newly built stone terrace behind the house for barbequing or outdoor breakfasts when then weather is fine Guest access You are welcome to use the whole cottage and the grounds! We are happy to send you more detailed information about the house as well as regional activities upon request. Other things to note Tenants get fresh linen and the key upon arrival. For families travelling with small children there is a baby cot available that can, of course, be used by our guests.
