Staying on the farm

On a quiet little road on the Saramacca river, near the village of Uitkijk, we, Gera and Annette live. Together we enjoy the peace, living outside the city, living on and along the river. For us, this is the ideal place to live and work with all our animals: horses, cows, dogs, chickens, goats and ducks. We are more than pleased to welcome you to enjoy a few days with us. The space We have two neat and cozy rooms for guests with a shared shower and toilet. In addition, we have realized a small relaxation "Pasensie soetoe" (Gera can tell you what this name means). In this room, breakfast is served to guests and in the afternoon, local residents can come over for a cold beer and in the meantime, lose their toris (stories) to each other. Guest access Our guests can use two canopy cabins where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the river from your hammock. Also a great place to throw out a fishing rod. If you're catching a fish that's worth it, Gera will be happy to throw it on the BBQ for you. During your stay There is always a certain level of interaction, as Annette provides breakfast in the communal area. You can take a boat trip with Gera (at a reasonable price) and help with the care of the animals is always allowed! Other things to note Many of our animals get loose, so if you're not an animal lover, Pasensie soetoe is not the right place for you.
