Welcome to Camp Relax, WI located just outside of Edgerton, WI. We hope you had a pleasant journey but let’s get down to kicking your shoes off and Relaxing! Camp Relax is located on a quiet bay on the shores of Lake Koshkonong, where you will enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the lake through every season. You will have access to the entire house, along with a large lot and 175 ft of private water frontage with a pier (an easy walk down a gentle slope to the water..no stairs) The space This location is special in that our home is located on a very quiet dead-end residential street, the perfect destination if you're looking for some down time. Expect to encounter wildlife…we regularly see eagles, hawks, ducks, pelicans and many other species of birds, along with fish, chipmunks and an occasional fox. Lake Koshkonong is over 10,000 acres in size, plus you have the ability to boat the Rock River from Fort Atkinson to Indian Ford. The lake is great for swimming, boating, fishing, water skiing, kayaking, ice fishing, snowmobiling or just plain lake watching! Our house can accommodate 8-9 guests. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a private bath with a shower, a queen bed and a single pull-out sleeper. Second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 queen beds. The main living area of the house is large and open. Please note: there are steps to the main entry of the house. Our kitchen is fully equipped for anything from cooking gourmet meals to heating a frozen pizza! We have SS cookware, mixer, toaster, blender, crock pot, pots, pans, cooking utensils, ice maker, spices, and coffee maker. Our coffee maker uses fresh, whole beans and will make 1 cup of coffee at your preferred strength, or a whole pot at once. We supply you with enough coffee beans for you stay, along with tea, creamer, flavorings, and sweeteners! The oversized farm table will easily seat 10 people. If you’re visiting during the summer months, you can grill out and eat al fresco on the back deck or enjoy a casual meal at a picnic table near the water. Lakeside, we have a private pier, 4 kayaks, a fire ring (we provide firewood) with plenty of Adirondack chairs. We have several life vests in varying sizes available for use, but feel free to bring your own personal vests if you plan to be out on the water (required if you are boating). We also have quite a few blow-up floating toys that you may use. We are child friendly and have a few kid amenities, such as the toy/book/game corner downstairs, as well as a Pack N Play, highchair, stroller, baby gate on stairs and kitchen cabinet child proof locks (only left out if booking includes children or infants) We do have Wifi and cable tv, or you can access roku, apple+, etc on our smart tv. There are plenty of books, board games, puzzles and yard games available for you to use. Guest access We do have an electronic lock. The code will be sent to you the day before your arrival Other things to note • There will be bugs..this is a just a part of lake living! Consider packing bug spray during the summer months. • Once you have booked our house we will send you a complete list of what is included in your stay as well as items that we suggest you bring with you! • A fishing license is required for WI residents and non-residents who are 16 years old or older. For non-residents, there are annual, daily, 4-day, and 15-day licenses available on the WI DNR website. • Edgerton/Lake Koshkonong is conveniently located 30 mins from Madison, 1 hr from Milwaukee, and 2 hrs from Chicago and 1 hr from Wisconsin Dells
