Serene & romantic with a view, north lake Naivasha

This beautiful rustic cottage is a perfect romantic get-away, or writer's retreat, for those seeking calm, serenity and nature, just 2 hours from Nairobi (30 mins from Naivasha town). Nestled into the stunning landscape below Eburru forest, and situated in the safety of Greenpark residential area, the house overlooks Lake Naivasha, Mount Longonot and Aberdares. The cottage is just 5 mins drive from the Great Rift Valley Lodge with farm shop, bar/restaurant, pool, tennis, golf and bikes for hire. The space Gorgeous open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area, indoor fireplace and cosy reading/writing spots, and French windows that open up onto the beautiful terrace and little garden. Set in 5 acres of beautiful open land, there are fabulous views of Lake Naivasha and the Aberdares, and a scenic extended wooden deck area. (Note: the cottage is not in Naivasha town but 25 minutes drive from the town on the north lake side.  The house comes with a housekeeper, Pamela. Cook available on request (if available!). TV/DVD player. No WiFi but the lodge has WiFi 5 minutes from the house. Please kindly bring drinking water! Wild and fun experiences - For those that are keen on adventures and hiking (including overnight if you bring a tent!), please let me know and I can organise a local guide to meet you and take you through the magical Eburru forest (just 20 minutes drive from the house)! Other things to note TRANSPORT and quick tip for getting there from Nairobi (for those without wheels!): I have an excellent reliable driver friend, Stephen (0726 434 211) that can be your weekend driver - he knows my place well and can transport you up, stay at the staff quarters next door, and bring you back to Nairobi!
