Swali house was built around 25 years ago by the owner's parents on a block of virgin coastal land after they'd succeeded in finding somewhere both secluded and tranquil. Msambweni is a remote unspoilt fishing town with few tourists, on the south coast near the Tanzanian border. The house was recently modernized and renovated extensively, adding a fresh water pool and an additional cottage containing the 5th bedroom - all with en-suite bathrooms. The house now sleeps 10 very comfortably. The space The house was built in a Swahili coast style with high ceilings and very open seating areas. All bedrooms are en-suite and each has its own balcony where tea is served in the mornings. The house is able to sleep 10 comfortably. The main house has a double and a twin room. The first cottage has a double and a twin room. The second cottage has a double room. The house comes with 3 members of staff including an excellent cook whose speciality is seafood dishes. Seafood can be ordered from the local fishermen by the cook and is generally subject to what is caught that day.
