Nestled in the beautiful Rideau Canal District, Harlem Stonegate's 50 acres and luxurious accommodations, makes it the perfect getaway in South Eastern Ontario. The space The Gardenview Guestroom is located in a spectacular 1850’s Stone Farmhouse on approx. 50 acres of picturesque land. We have endeavoured to create a quiet, comfortable, elegant, and inspirational environment to complement our tranquil sugar bush, peaceful waving hayfields, serene wetlands and fascinating majestic post-and-beam bank barns. The Gardenview is situated in a separate wing of our historic stone home (along with our two other guestrooms: the Stonegate & Hayfield), is air-conditioned and has a lovely pastoral view. The room décor is farmhouse chic which complements its beautiful original pine floors; gabled ceiling and characteristic windows set back in a two-foot thick exterior stonewall. Settle in for the night in a gorgeous queen bed with 100% cotton linen, comfy pillows and cozy duvet. The hall bath is complete with plush 100% cotton towels and cotton bathrobes, slippers (if needed), heat lamp, complementary toiletries and many other conveniences. If you’ve forgotten anything, we have you covered! Relax with a good book, bottle of wine or good conversation in your guestroom or downstairs in the Sunroom, screened porch, or variety of other areas (weather permitting) on the property. Guest access B&B guests have free reign to stroll the property (weather and safety permitting), venture out to surrounding activities, or can simply enjoy the warmth and cozy ambiance of the main guest facilities: upstairs reading area, welcoming airy sunroom, charming period dining area, screened veranda, yoga platform by the pond or garden gazebo.
