Wyndham Midtown 45 is the perfect location for a visit to the "City that never sleeps." On an island famous for its sights and sounds, it is your stylish retreat from the hustle and bustle below. Step out your front door and find a city chock-full of famous landmarks. From the Empire State Building to the Statue of Liberty to Times Square — you're just getting started. Your Midtown location, less than a quarter mile from Grand Central Station, makes traveling around Manhattan a breeze. The space This is a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment with a mini-kitchen for preparing simple meals. The Master Suite is huge (for New York). The second bedroom has a queen bed in a small room., but it has a closer with short dresser. Space is a premium in New York City, but everything you need is cleverly stowed somewhere. Please note that it is not a good idea to bring a car to Manhattan. There is no parking on premises. Valet parking is available at a rather hefty price. You can call the resort for more information about parking. This is my timeshare vacation. Please know that YOU DO NOT NEED TO SIT THROUGH A PRESENTATION! I have already done that. You will probably be invited to a complimentary breakfast if you'll sit through a 60-minutes presentation, but that will be your choice. You do not need to do that. It won't affect your stay. The only requirement you have is to have a fabulous time in New York City.! Please note that because it is a timeshare, NO refunds can be made within 16 days of travel. Guest access There is a terrific rooftop lounge that is available to guests between 9 am and 10 pm. There are games, snacks, books, and TV in the lounge. The activities department will sometimes have an event in the lounge in the afternoons. I was there for chocolate fondue during one visit. Be sure the check with the Concierge Desk to see what activities are happening during your stay. Outside the lounge are lovely sitting areas with heaters. It's a great place to go if your condo is beginning to feel small. There are washers and dryers on every floor. There is a gym on the ground floor. Coffee is available in reception all during the day. Other things to note Your reservation requires a 3-day minimum and 3-day maximum stay.
