Description
Beach apartment facing the sea, with 7 bedrooms and capacity for 20 people. The price is for 6 people in 3 rooms and $50 per additional person. The apartment has direct beach access and large windows in the social area, offering a beautiful view of the beach, the bay with its boats, the pier, the Morro and the boats waiting to cross the Canal in the distance, as well as the constant sound of the waves. The space The apartment is located in front of the ocean in Playa Honda, so you can hear the sound of the waves throughout the day and have a view of the bay of Taboga, with the pier, El Morro, Taboguilla and the boats waiting at the entrance of the Canal. When the tide rises, the sea surrounds the house and you can jump into the sea from the terrace windows, or even do some fishing. At night we have lights that illuminate the beach and, if the tide is high, you can see a lot of fish (sardines, black porgies, drumfish, garfish, manta rays and others). We have inflatable boats, floats, beach chairs, mats, umbrellas, board games, and TV with Internet. Occasionally there are interruptions in the water service on the island, if there is any damage, but the house has tanks up to 930 gallons of water for these eventualities. Guest access You enter the apartment on the building's ground floor, going down a few steps. On the first floor there are 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds, 2 bedrooms have a queen bed and the other 3 bedrooms have 4 bunk beds. To get to the social area, where the living room, dining room, bar and kitchen are located, as well as the master bedroom and a bathroom, go down a staircase. The social area and the master bedroom offer a beautiful ocean view. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Other things to note Panama has two seasons: the rainy season, from April to December, and the dry season, from December to March. From November, with the national holidays, until the end of summer in April, tourism on the island increases, and on weekends it can be difficult to get a ticket at the last minute, so it is recommended to buy it in advance. From July to October, humpback whales look for warm waters to mate and tend to pass along the coasts of Taboga, creating an extra attraction for the explorer tourist. September is the peak season for whale watching. Tap water is not potable, but we have filters to make the water potable. If you wish, you can bring water from Panama or buy it on the island. The cost of water is $12 per 5-gallon tank and ice costs $8 per bag on the island, so it is cheaper to bring it from Panama. Occasionally there are interruptions in the water service if the pump is damaged or there is any damage, so the apartment has water reserve tanks in case there is no water on the island, but you must take care of this resource, since we are not responsible if the water in the tanks runs out, since if you take good care of it, it can last several days. There is the possibility of sending for water from a well on the island. In the event that the damage occurs exclusively in our house, we will take care of finding water for basic needs during your stay. There is no supermarket on the island, only a store for basic needs and at a higher price than in Panama, due to transportation costs. There is only one Banco Nacional ATM available on Isla Taboga, it is advisable to carry cash in case it is out of service.
