Cozy cottage at Geysir in the Golden Circle

A cozy cottage sourronded by mountains and located near the hot spring Geysir in the middle of the famous Golden Circle route only 120 km drive from Reykjavik. You can drive to Gullfoss in 10 min. and Þingvellir in 45 min. From the window you can see horses from the farms nearby and there is a golfcourse next to the house. A river , Tungufljót , runs in front of the house and if you are lucky and come in the wintertime you can enjoy the beautyful northernlights from the cottage. The space Our cottage has everything you need to enjoy a stay with your family or friends, small, but fully equipped kitchen, nice living space with TV and DVD.. The three bedrooms have comfortable beds, there are two sigle beds in one room and two rooms with double beds. We have a big, nice bathroom with a shower. The diningroom area is very spacious were you can sit and enjoy long dinners with friends and family. The kitchen is well equipped for making gourmet dinners. The outside area is spacious with grill, chairs and diningtable, where you can sit and enjoy late dinner in the midnight sun or admire the northernlights in the winter. We have plenty of blankets to keep you warm. Guest access Our guests have access to the whole house. Other things to note Try the thermal baths in the neighborhood. Keep in mind that we have a water heater in the house, so do not let the warm water run to long, then you might have to wait for it to get warm again. There are some nice little restaurants nearby.
