The Round House has a very modern design done by Muqtadir Sahib (rip). I’m truly grateful to him. His idea for harvesting rain water will remain very unique. Finished in stone and wood. Interior furnishing is informal and rustic, predominantly Cottage Style. The living room on the ground floor and the two master beds on the first floor have large windows to capture maximum sunlight. A highly efficient stove/fireplace in the lounge keeps the house adequately warm. Breakfast is complementary. The space Indoors:- The Cabin’s entrance has a mud room connected to a powder room. It has a spacious living area which can accommodate a large group comfortably all day. You can warm yourself in front of an eco- friendly fireplace or step outside in the balcony and enjoy loads of fresh oxygen. The kitchen is designed for a self cooking experience. It is small and practical. There is a breakfast bar opening into the lounge and is a part of the cold kitchen. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms with private baths and balcony and common terrace with a outdoor fire pit for an evening hang out. The basement is for the use of owners and has an independent access to it. Guests may also use it with the owner's consent. Outdoors:- Our home is a perfect getaway for people interested in spending time outdoors. The lawns are spacious and there is an interesting mix of plants in a comparatively young garden. There is a patio to sit, relax in hammock and share stories. You can enjoy an outdoor meal. The night time is amazing with the pine trees lit up around the house. Leisurely walks to the mountain top or down to the main road is recommended any time of the day. You will experience "Forest Bathing" throughout your stay while still staying close to the comforts of modern life. There are balconies with stunning views all around the house and the one with the bedrooms is recommended for on-line work during the day. On a clear day, Rawal lake and Islamabad are clearly visible. There is a bbq grill and an authentic Italian Brick Pizza Oven!! Guest access Guests can park in porch or garage and are welcome to access the whole house EXCEPT the basement. This part of the house has an access from the garage and is available for the use only with the owner's consent. Other things to note The Kitchen is designed for self cooking experience. Guests are encouraged to bring pre-cooked food or come prepared to cook their own meal. In-house breakfast is served to guests. We have also started an in-house dining menu.
