This location is only a 15 minute walk to the bus station, the local tuk tuk/ motorcycle taxis and car taxis. It is only 35 minutes away from Moshi (the arts district) and one hour away from Arusha. It is a 15-20 minute drive from the JRO airport. Boma Ng'ombe sits right at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, on the way to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. The space Our home is in a residential area far away from tourists and offers a real home-stay experience. Your hosts, Madonna (Dee) and Mama Lema, are from the Chagga tribe of the region. We have extensive knowledge of the area and we both have a very good sense of humor! We are multilingual in Swahili, English, Chagga, plus some French. Our home is very secure. There are three bedrooms: BR1 has one bunkbed for up to two guests. BR2 has two bunkbeds for up to four guests. The bathroom for these two bedrooms is nearby in the hallway. BR3 has three bunkbeds for up to six guests and has an ensuite bathroom. All beds have functional mosquito bed nets. We can help arrange tours to local Maasai villages, and local treasures like the Chemka Hot Springs. We can also help arrange safari tours, Kili tours, day trips to villages, local markets and art colonies. Guest access Guests will only be a short walk (10-15 minutes) away from two different banks, a grocery store, internet cafe, post office, and the police station. Laundry service is available to guests, as well the added knowledge that they will be staying in a gated compound with top security measures.
