Bakkakot 2 - Cosy cabins in the wood

Bakkakot 2 is hidden between the trees surrounded by nature. All you need for a relaxing retreat in the Icelandic countryside with TV, DVD, kitchenette, shower room, WiFi, games and grill/picnic area (summer months) and shared hot tub area. We are located 20km from Akureyri so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway. The space The cabin is located in our woodland near to our house. The cosy cabin is very welcoming and well equipped for two. It is 16 sq.m and stands on a large decking with outdoor seating. The cabin is open plan with a double bed, TV/DVD player, table, chairs, a kitchenette with hob, toaster, kettle, fridge and sink. The shower room has a shower, sink and toilet. We also provide tea, coffee, cooking oil, games and DVDs. The cabin is heated using geothermal water. There are paths through the woods that guests are welcome to enjoy as well as a nice grill/picnic area (summer) and a shared hot tub area. Guest access Guests are welcome to wander around our woodland. Parking is available on our driveway. We provide laundry service for a small fee. Other things to note During the winter months there can be a lot of snow so we try to keep the path to the cabin as clear as possible. We own a friendly Labrador called Bósi.
