Fantastic exclusive & secluded house with a huge garden leading onto the beach.Open plan living area downstairs & upstairs has great views over the Bazarutto archipelago.Amazing whale watching, deep sea fishing & snorkelling opportunities.If not swimming in the pool there are great beach walks.Sea is normally very calm making it great for children.Sunrises & star gazing on clear nights are truly amazing. peak season minimum 10 days before 27th December & or 10 days after 27th December. The space A modern clean and well appointed exclusive house with large windows and sliding/stacking beach front doors. All 5 double bedrooms have air conditioning (only for use when EDM power is on) & wall mounted fans ( to be used when generator is running house),en-suite bathrooms,hair dryers and fitted wardrobes. The 6th is a bunk room with 3 bunks,also air conditioned & attached bathroom.There is a crib with changing table,Mosquito net attachment for the crib,high chair feeding table & immoveable stairs child safety gates.The main bedroom's bathroom has a bath & large shower. There is a large open plan reception area on the ground floor with 3 couches, 2 chairs,4 large 'seating cushions',a dining table that can accommodate 12 and a granite kitchen counter with ample room for 8 bar stools.The kitchen is well equipped with two -40 fridges, 2 additional stand by fridges,stand alone Scotsman ice maker,chest freezers,dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a range style gas stove and oven. The kitchen includes kettles,toasters along with cutlery, crockery, cookware and cooking utensils. Glassware of various sizes also in the kitchen. Kitchen has a double sink with an outside scullery area with a further 2 deep sinks, ideal for hanging laundry, cleaning and preparing fish and seafood. The property comes with a large braai & Weber BBQ , and has verandas on both floors.There is a 22KVA backup generator to run fridges,freezers,ice makers & bedroom fans in the event of EDM power outage. The first floor accommodates 4 large bedrooms, 3 double bedrooms and one with 2 (3/4)beds.2 of the double bedrooms have great sea views.There is also an in formal seating area with sliding/stacking doors giving access to a covered veranda overlooking the sea. The informal lounge has 2 couches & 2 chairs plus side tables. There are 4 square cushioned poofs and 4 canvas directors chairs between the 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a 5th bedroom with double bed and ensuite (great for older/disabled guests) Plus a 6th bedroom with 3 bunk beds & attached bathroom. There are also 2 sun loungers with mattresses ,also loads of spare couch cushions plus plenty of spare linen if required. Next to the pool are 2 picnic benches with 2 sun umbrellas. From the veranda you can see the start of the bazaruto archipelago with Paradise Island and Bazaruto Island in view. During the right season you are also likely to see whales, dolphins and turtles when out at sea. The property overlooks the Indian Ocean with amazing sun rise views. Our personal favourite when spending time at the house is buying fresh lobsters and prawns (at amazing prices) as it comes onto the beach, BBQ them,then enjoying them with sundowners on the veranda.The seasonal deep sea fishing opportunities include sail fish,marlin, yellowfin tuna, sierra, king fish etc. Snorkelling is also very popular in the archipelago around Paradise and Bazaruto Islands. Sunrises & star gazing in the evenings a real bonus as there is little light pollution. No internet/wifi provided. Guest access The property can be accessed by dirt road behind the dunes and it is a short 8 minute drive from the centre of Inhassoro. The road from Inhassoro is unpaved and we would recommend using a 4x4. GPS co-ordinates are 21,35 south & 35,15 east Inhassoro is approximately 80kms from the nearest airport or next major town, which is Vilanculous. There are hire cars available at Vilanculous airport although we don't know the type of vehicles that will always be on hand. You can fly direct to Vilanculous from Johannesburg, Cape Town and we think Harare. Other things to note The generator is at the property as a backup supply of power for essentials like fridges,deep freezers ,ice maker & fans NOT for air cons or washing machines.in the event EDM power drops out.You can hire boats from local companies in Inhassoro which are ideal for day trips to Paradise Island and the Archipelago. This is perfect for deep sea fishing, snorkeling or scuba diving if you have the equipment. This is actually one of our favorite things to do when staying.
