Mountain retreat

Our beautiful, modern, comfortable house is designed in an eco-friendly manner in harmony with nature. It is an ideal place to relax and also a base to explore the area which is in a beautiful part of Panama near a cloud forest national park with amazing hiking to waterfalls and local communities. The house is large, sleeping 12, within 17 acres of forest with rivers for swimming. We can arrange tours and hosted retreats for yoga, cooking and more. The space Only 3 hours from Panama City the house is a refuge of peace surrounded by amazing nature. It has a very special eco-design and has been published in various leading architectural magazines in US and Europe. The house looks out onto beautiful landscapes, with the sound of the rivers flowing below. The house is large, sleeping 12, with four bedrooms each with its own private terrace. At the centre of the house is an infinite saltwater swimming pool overlooking the forest, with floodlights for night relaxation. The property has a river along its borders, with swimming spots, deep pools, mini waterfalls, no one else around. The house benefits from a positive natural energy from the flowing river to the breeze, the sunrises, starry nights - pure eco-therapy. We also have a large open kitchen, bbq and a fire pit for enjoying meal times. We have have chickens for fresh eggs and friendly dogs. We highly recommend using the house as a base for exploring this undiscovered part of Panama. We can help organize itineraries from 1-10 days with local guides for hiking to cloud forest and waterfalls, agrotourism, ecological tours, artisanal coffee making, white water rafting, and meals with a prominent local eco chef. We have also hosted retreats for yoga, cooking as well as kids camps and family reunions. The house is also great just for families and friends to hang out. Guest access The master bedroom is 36 m2 with ensuite bathroom and private covered terrace. Second bedroom has two double beds, third bedroom has three single beds and share the same bathroom. These bedrooms each have a door allowing access to the forest outside the house. The final bedroom has one double and a sofa bed. The fourth bedroom is on a corner and overlooks the pool and has vistas of the mountains. It has a bathroom adjacent. We have a gas water heater for hot showers. Other things to note The house was constructed with materials from the historic US military bases in Panama City. There is no air conditioning as the house has been bio-designed to maximize natural airflow. As the house is in the mountains in a forest reserve there is wildlife and sometimes creatures like bats can come into the house. If you enjoy nature then this is the place for you!
