Room in large modern house in village of Ballycroy on the Wild Atlantic Way. In-between the Nephin Mountains, Ballycroy National Park and the Atlantic Ocean. Near Achill, Belmullet and Westport. 10km from the Mayo Greenway. Experience rural Ireland in a traditional Atlantic Village. You can make your own breakfast in our kitchen. The space We are on the Wild Atlantic Way which stretches from Donegal in the North to Kinsale in Co Cork in the south. We are nestled in between the Nephin Mountains and Achill Island on the Atlantic Ocean. We are a rural community spread out over 30 kms between Mulranny and Bangor Erris. We are mainly small farmers farming sheep and cattle. Guest access You will have a nice room in our house with is part of a local bar. You will also have access to the kitchen and a nice sitting room. You can make you own tea, coffee and have access to our kitchen. We have a large car park and you can park your car, van and bicycles with ease. During your stay I normally will be working in the bar so you will have access to me if you need any help. Other things to note We are in the village, close to the Post Office and church. Behind out house is the Visitors centre. It is not open all year. It is open from Spring to Autumn. You can learn about the history of the area and how people lived. They have videos and re constructions of how we lived in the past. There is also more information about the natural habitat in the area.
