Located on the beach of a small bay on Capsalay Island, just in front of Port Barton, facing the South China Sea, surrounded by other islands, in a marine park. Immersed in a pristine nature, you can find peace and solitude and enjoy natural time in your own little cottage immersed in a beautiful garden right next to the beach. You can have complete privacy and rest in your own small cottage immersed in a beautiful garden right next to the beach. You might find yourself woken up by monkeys, see a monkey eagle flying on top of the trees, meet a big lizard or see little marine turtles hatch out and run into the sea. You can do island hopping tours and see beautiful waterfalls nearby. As tropical seas are living environments, it is recommendable to bring snorkeling equipment in order to observe and enjoy the life under water. As there is no restaurant on the island, it is important to bring your own food. You can buy it in Port Barton before hiring a boat to come to the island, for example at Bernadette's shop 'Bamboo House'. A gas stove is used for cooking. For short term stays you can find an arrangement with a lady from the island who can cook fresh fish in banana leaves for you, if the catch allows it. There is no fridge. Usually you will arrive in Puerto Princesa, the capital city of Palawan, from Manila by plane. Port Barton, our mainland village, is well connected with both Puerto Princesa and El Nido. The trip from the Puerto bus terminal is around 3 hours. There are various solutions proposed at the terminal for the trip.. It is recommendable to reach Barton not later than early afternoon, so you can do your shopping, come to the island and be introduced to the place during daylight. To reach the island you need to take a a boat from Barton to Capsalay,(approximately half an hour drive). Better you book your trips ahead. For the van contact Recaro or SBE. For the boat ask in barton or contact me. You have access to your own private garden and beach beds and hammock. There are cooking facilities available in the cottage. You can rent a cayak. You will be assisted during your stay, as I am leaving in the house next door. In the neighborhood there are only a few private houses and a fisherman village A little fisher village is on the backside of the island. You can order fresh fish from there. Coral reefs are nearby. By pumboat (local boat) that you can rent from Port Barton. Ask me for contact. You have to bring your own food. Shopping can be done in Barton at Bomboo house (ATM is also there). Fish can be ordered from the village if available. If you want you can also order some already grilled fish with rice and vegetables for 350 pesos (for 2 person). There is no fridge.
