Welcome to the Stumble Inn, one of two original hotels on the shore of the Mississippi River in the village of Ferguson Falls. Built circa 1830, the Stumble Inn has been updated and converted into a charming, cozy large one bedroom cabin getaway. The space The Stumble Inn is a rustic cabin located at the front of a shared property. The owners live on the property in a separate residence and are available during your stay. The cabin is located right beside a road with a posted speed limit of 50kph, however we all know people don't always follow the speed limits. A charming log cabin with wood floors on the main level and carpeting in the large bedroom area. There is a large 12x20 deck complete with a patio set, lounge chairs and a propane BBQ. The fire pit is located between the cabin and the river for toasting and roasting summertime treats. The main living area has an open livingroom/dining area with a hide a bed couch and a comfy chaise lounger. The kitchen is completely stocked with all your cooking and serving dinnerware. The upstairs area is a spacious one bedroom with a king size bed, desk area, dresser, and a sitting area. The three piece bathroom includes a toilet, shower and sink area with a large counter space. Guest access Guests have access to the cabin and the front of the property, as well as to an area of the owners property to access the river for swimming, canoeing, kayaking or launching a small boat. Use of a canoe and 2 kayaks with lifejackets is included in the rental. Other things to note The water in the cabin is drawn from the river. We have a water cooler in the kitchen for drinking and cooking. We do supply the large jugs of water. We also supply smaller bottles of water for brushing teeth.
