Quiet lakefront paradise, to unwind and rejuvenate

SNOWBIRDS Welcome! Charming mid century modern house. The magical backyard on a small lake is inviting and inspiring. The cool indoors give a sense of grounded space with terrazzo floors in the whole house. I enjoy cooking . If you’re uncomfortable with wafting aromas of spices like cumin, coriander, and turmeric etc. used in Indian cooking, please consider another property. Having said that, if I’m home, you’re welcome to join me for a meal of whatever it is I am eating that day/ night! The space Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, dining room, and Florida room. Common areas are shared with others, possibly roommates at home. The laundry has a new Washing machine, and a Dryer for convenience and comfort, especially for long stays, such as for monthly guests or snowbirds. We even have a new clothesline in the backyard, if you should desire to use it! The second bedroom with a Twin XL bed, is ideal for an extra person, paying nominal charges. Please reach out with any questions about this arrangement. Both bedrooms have brand new medium firm mattresses. The smaller of the two available bedrooms also serves as an office, as it has an L SHAPED DESK to accommodate up to two people if desired. ETHERNET is available, and USE is CONFINED to the TECHNOLOGY ROOM ONLY, such as for a Printer. Extending wires outside of the technology room is not permitted. To use ETHERNET IN THE OFFICE or bedroom, please REQUEST A REPEATER, and it will be PROVIDED. Guest access Guests have access to all public areas in the house, as outlined in the description of the Space, including the beautiful and large backyard. During your stay I am a mature and an extremely well traveled person, having lived and worked on three continents- born and raised in India, spent 9 years in Sydney and Canberra in Australia, returning frequently to visit. Been 25 years in the US, and take every opportunity to explore this vast and diverse country. Travelled extensively in Australia and Europe. Travel has provided with several extended stays of three months or more in the UK, and mainland Europe. Love Italy, who doesn’t? Also enjoy visiting German cities, especially for the Christmas Markets of Cologne and Berlin. Fascinated with parts of France, specifically the quaint towns of the Opal Coast. Visited the middle, near and Far East, including Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand. Quick visits to the Canary Islands, extended stays in parts of West Africa. Four amazing weeks in Ecuador in South America. I’m happy to trade travel stories if you’re up for it. The guests are ensured their privacy, as I have my own self contained room. Also, I do not always live on the Property, this being our lakeside retreat. However I am usually available at an hour’s notice if and when required. When I’m home, I’m maybe mildly curious but never inquisitive. I’m of Indian (as in India) origin and if I’m cooking at home will be happy to make you a curry and maybe even home made flatbread.
