Description

We loved our stay here. The house is clean and spacious in a beautiful location with stunning views. We wouldn't change a thing. -Karen July 2018 A bright, open, warm and spacious retreat in the village of Ballydavid on the Wild Atlantic Way. Within walking distance of two beaches, a restaurant and two pubs. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and sleeps 8 to 10 people. It has a large bright living space, a pool table, a bright airy kitchen - great for cooking and entertaining. The space This is a bright and very spacious 4-bedroomed house surrounded by spectacular scenery, with the Wild Atlantic Way, spectacular cliff walks and the Brandon Mountain range very close to the house. It is close to Dingle town, situated 8-miles away. It offers plenty of space for children with two beaches and a pub down the road, for food and Guinness. The village of Ballydavid is minutes away, there are two pubs, a restaurant and two small beaches. It is ideal as an artists retreat, a family holiday or a space to relax or enjoy a visit to the local to watch the match, play pool or listen to music. Guest access Walk or Drive - plenty of parking space with good wheelchair accessibility Other things to note Their is a great atmosphere in the village,TP's and Begley's pub are very welcoming. The two beaches in the village are ideal for swimming, these are divided by a large pier that the children swim from. In fact it is an ideal location for swimming for both children and adults and it is considered a very safe. There are daily swim lessons on the beach during the summer, these are attended by both adults and children. The village is surrounded by many beaches on the dingle peninsula all of these are a very short car ride away you have Wine Strand, Murioch (A long beach which is great for walking which is only 10 minutes away from the house) Beal Ban, Ventry and many many more all centered around the dingle peninsula. If swimming or water sports are not for you there are numerous walks in the area to choose from the most famous being the spectacular cliff walk which starts in the village. Mont Brandon is a more challenging walk but nonetheless stunning the mountain is very clearly visible from the back of the house and provides a very scenic backdrop it is just a short drive away. The Blasket Islands are nearby and just a boat ride out from the peninsula - rich in Irish heritage. UNESCO World Heritage Site Skellig Michael is a nearby attraction that is steeped in tranquility and mystique.
