The space The Trakura Shelter is located in the rural sector of the same name and is one of the most beautiful places in the commune of Melipeuco. We are located in a valley surrounded by mountains with lush native vegetation, waterways where it is possible to birdwatch and excellent connectivity with the different places of tourist interest. The cabin is part of a peasant family where you can observe trails within the space and different domestic animals such as our dogs Nerón, Balú and Tomasa (all very friendly and respectful) sheep, cows and horses. Guest access Our cabin is located next to the international highway that connects Chile with Argentina through the Icalma Pass. There will always be someone waiting for guests, although it is a safe area, the gates are locked at night, so you will have copies of the keys to the cabin and the entrance gate to the property. You will have direct and free access to the two rivers that are within the property and a trail that will allow you to observe the native forest and panoramic views of the imposing mountains. We are 11 km from the city of Melipeuco, 18 km from Conguillio National Park. It is a special place for families, children and anyone who values tranquility, caring for the environment and the beauty of the Andes mountain range.
