There are expansive views of Black Mountain and Olema Valley from the living room and master bedroom. There is a third floor with three additional bedrooms, large guest bath and laundry room. During the day guests can explore Point Reyes National Seashore and the many wonderful beaches in the area, access the many hiking and biking trails, kayaking on the bay (rentals nearby) or stay inside and cozy up in front of one of the two massive fireplaces and watch for birds and other wildlife. House has fully equipped kitchen w/professional Wolf range, large flat screen TV, WiFi, lots of movies, vintage board games, and garage full of sporting equipment, ping pong table, bikes and toys. Confirmed guests will be provided with detailed directions and arrival info, as well as our 4 page "Insider's Guide" with tips and recommendations you might not find elsewhere (we love sharing our local knowledge!) We live just a few minutes away and are available if anything comes up. Outside guests are limited to two without prior approval. Parking is limited to four cars without prior approval. Please do not try to throw a party here. (It's fine if those who are staying there want to stay up late and whoop and holler, we just ask that you take it inside after dark, as sound travels out here and we do have neighbors a little ways away.) That said, don't try to throw your reception here, we have a zero tolerance policy for unauthorized parties. Our neighbors are very noise sensitive. They will call us, we will come, with the sheriff, and make you and all your friends leave early. Again, normal groups, at reasonable levels are fine. You can stay up all night and laugh and dance inside, good for you! We are centrally located between Point Reyes Station and Inverness, nestled beside over 70,000 acres of protected park land and many biking and hiking trails, just 15 minutes from Limantour beach by car, a short walk or bike ride to Bear Valley Visitor center, Tomales bay boat/kayak launch, and the shops and restaurants of Point Reyes Station and Inverness. About a scenic hour drive from San Francisco. Arrival time is anytime after 3pm. Departure time by Noon. We live nearby, and are available by phone/email/text 24/7 in case anything comes up.
