Our Bell Tent is a boutique Glamping experience for two with the option to include a third person. Beautifully furnished with a queen size bed, indoor and outdoor seating, feather pillows, wool blankets, cosy coir flooring, and decorated with handcrafted bunting and solar lights. Start your day with a continental breakfast. Unplug under canvas in our charming tent. The space The Bell Tent sits in a newly planted Damson orchard and beside our existing heritage orchard in the middle of a working organic farm, looking out across acres of peatlands. While away the afternoon reading a book from the queen-size bed or hammock. Once evening arrives, relax around the fire pit (set-up for you with wood supplied) and gaze at the glittering sky or cosy up inside. An outdoor shower and toilet is a short walk away across a lawn. The tent is 100% cotton and 16sqm in floor area. Guest access We are located just a mile from the Grand Canal Greenway, so if on foot or bicycle we are happy to welcome you. Bikes can be safely stored in a farm shed on site. Plus facilities are available to dry your wet gear if needed. Guests have access to all outdoor areas (gardens) and can walk avenues through the farm. Areas of local interest include but are not limited to Lough Boora Sculptural Park, Birr Castle Demesne, Croghan Hill, Clonmacnoise, Athlone Water Park, Slieve Bloom Mountains - Margaret will curate day trips for you with pleasure. Other things to note A continental breakfast is provided. We offer a nourishing tech-free experience so no wifi or TV. We run a number of events and tours on the farm, so on some days we may have other visitors in these spaces during daytime hours - we will make you aware of any when you enquire or book. We will happily curate your stay to include massage, personal photoshoot or farm tours. Simply enquire on arrival.
