Please unload your belongings and park your car there as soon as possible. Other things to note The house sits on the same lot as the surf hut #7 and the pelican palace #8, each house has its own gate. The village has some new street lights however, a flash light comes very handy. Welcome to the tropics! We are surrounded by nature and some critters like tarantulas, snakes, scorpions and other bugs are part of the community. Even though the houses are treated for pests, during hot weather season, mosquitoes, ants and cockroaches are common. Friendly advise: keep your food inside the fridge. Close the door during calm days or moths will find their way to the light at night. During “winter” season, bring a hoodie or similar, the temperatures can drop a bit and can be quite windy. During this time of year, if we are experimenting strong winds, just a couple of 2 or 3 restaurants will be open. Everything else folds up! The main activities are SCUBA diving and snorkeling. There is also a large trail system covering the beach, mountains and arroyo. Some mountain bikes are available for rent in town too. Cabo Pulmo is a quaint, remote and secluded town lacking amenities such as gas stations, banks/ATM and pharmacies. It's advisable to visit larger supermarkets in Los Cabos or La Paz. Chedrahui and Soriana are the closest markets to the airport in San José del Cabo. There are seven restaurants available in town with different working hours offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most restaurants close by 9 pm. The last gas station is in La Ribera along with the last modest grocery store on the right side of the highway. Cabo Pulmo has two very small stores offering a very limited selection of products; like drinking water, wine, beer and some snacks.
