Thomas, the dedicated house manager and an exceptional chef, will ensure your comfort and, on request, prepare delicious homemade Swahili meals. Over the years, renowned authors, musicians and artists have found inspiration here. We also offer the house as a residency for African creatives needing a place to work. We are always striving to improve your experience as a visitor, so please reach out with any suggestions, complaints or questions... This has been a family home for many years, so we hope you love it as much as we do! 📍 Location: The house is in Lamu Town, just a 5–10 min walk from the waterfront. Shela Beach is a 45–60 min walk or a 15-min boat ride away. Guest access This unique home consists of two separate houses connected by a private bridge over the street. You’ll have exclusive access to the entire property, which includes: - 2 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom - A study for quiet moments - Rooftop terrace with views - A courtyard garden with an outdoor dining area - A pool with patio 🚿 Note: The house has one bathroom with a handheld shower and two additional WCs (without showers). Other things to note Please note: No outside guests are allowed on the property without prior permission. Unfortunately, we’ve had issues in the past with unauthorized gatherings, which caused disturbance to our neighbours and unnecessary wear and tear to our home.
