The Texian Cabin

Enjoy a unique 1700 sqft Texas themed log cabin in the woods! This 1.5 story home, located on a small family farm, has three bed rooms and two bathrooms with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player. The space Once you enter the front gates of the property, the cabin has its own private gate and driveway that will lead you down a winding, rustic dirt trail to the parking area adjacent to the cabin. From the cabin, you can see our small barn, the sheep pasture, the cow pasture and trees on all sides of you. With a heavy focus on wildlife and supporting wildlife habitat, the grounds around the cabin are left in their wild state. It is not uncommon to see rabbits, armadillos, or an abundance of other wildlife foraging around the grounds. A fire pit is provided for grilling, or stories around the campfire. Hammocks and rocking chairs provide outdoor relaxation opportunities. Indoors, board games, books and music in a cozy log cabin setting allow for relaxation and fun. Guest access The cabin is accessed by way of our winding, rustic dirt trail. You will have a fun, but bumpy ride once you enter the property. During rain events, this drive can be muddy. Other things to note In order to reduce distractions and promote relaxation we do not provide any WiFi access. A parent or guardian must be present for any guests under 21 years of age. We do charge extra guest fees for any guests over the initial 6 guests. The maximum number of guests allowed at this property is 10. This is subject to approval and involves an additional event fee.
