Barefoot is a beautiful 1 1/2 bedroom tiny house. This 27 sqm wood house is nestled in Tunis Village and just a step away from a rich treat of historic sites. Barefoot has one bedroom with a French bed, 1 bathroom, living room with a fully equipped kitchen. A loft bed above the kitchen area is perfect to sleep an extra person. Barefoot also features a fire pit, a tiny, but heated pool, a small garden and a private deck with a comfy seating area. Note: pool is heated from November - April The space Barefoot in Tunis was built with great consideration for the environment and following the ideas of the "tiny house movement". By focusing on the essentials of living, these 27 sqm make for a comfortable and light flooded all wooden house. Much of the wood house was build with reclaimed wood. All balcony doors, which there are two of, used to beautify old Egyptian buildings. Same with the entry door. All Grey Water of the house is used to water the plants at the back of the house. Bedroom: The closet used to be palettes before an Egyptian craftsmen turned it into a closet. The French Bed might be from a Swedish company, but it's second hand. You have two plugs next to the bed and two lights. Bathroom: Comes with a sink, toilet and a round wood shower, which is built around a "tesht", an Egyptian metal washing tub. Hot and cold water available at all times. Living room A couch, a table and no TV, but a three meter high balcony door that opens up to the private wood deck. We installed an AC (cooling & heating), which covers the whole house. kitchen Fully equipped with a stove, fridge, small oven and all necessarily kitchen utensils. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with tea, coffee, sugar, oil and other cooking essentials. Guest access Guest have access to the private deck, the private bbq area and the private heated plunge pool behind the house. Guest have full access to the shared garden, but might share it with other guests. Other things to note We abide by the Egyptian law. Residents and Egyptians, you know the drill.
