SPECTACULAR SEA VIEWS. A beautiful contemporary, totally self-contained small studio apartment in Dunquin (Dun Chaoin) overlooking the Atlantic and Blasket Islands. Perfect base for hiking, cycling, visiting the Blasket, viewing stars at night, listening to the sound of the sea, with peaceful beaches and beautiful walks nearby. We are on the wild Atlantic Way, at the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, the halfway point of the Slea Head Drive. We are a 20min drive west of Dingle town. We have 4 goats The space A bright studio apartment with a double bed and ensuite. A totally self contained apartment with full kitchen and all necessary cooking equipment. Free WiFi and TV. Private outdoor seating area, overlooking the Atlantic ocean with direct views of the magnificent Blasket Islands. Beautiful surroundings! This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay nestled between the West kerry mountains and the Atlantic ocean. Dunquin is a very safe travel destination and our apartment is ideal for couples or solo travellers. The ferry to The Blasket Island is weather dependant and runs from 1st April - 1st Sept. The apartment is next door to our own main residence. However you have your own private entrance and outdoor area. Local guided walks / hikes available from the apartment. We supply basic foods - cold cereals, milk, butter, olive oil, salt pepper, tea, coffee, mayo, ketchup etc.. Guest access The apartment is located on the same property as the main house, however guests have their own private entrance and outdoor area with complete privacy. Large parking area. We have 4 pygmy goats and 4 hens. Other things to note Check in is 5pm - 8pm, but an earlier/later time can be arranged in advance. As we are literally on the edge of the coast, there is no shop in Dunquin. Krugers pub is a short walk from the apartment and serve food from 12-8pm ish. There are many pubs that serve food in close driving distance. (Approx 5km away.) Dingle town has a huge selection of really good places to eat! There is a local link bus service which operates a service Dingle - Dunquin..Dunquin - Dingle for €3 each way.
