Now with WIFI!! Mountain and sea in one place. Parties are not allowed. The house is design for relax. The space The house has 2 bedrooms and one big living room. In the main bedroom you can find a full size bed (2 people), the room #2 has other full size bed (2 people). The livng room has 4 single beds. Also in the living room there is a pool table. Our beach house is strategically located between sea and mountains in the National Park of Portobelo. This allows us to have a lot of activity during the day. The cabin is protected by a coral reef where you can swim or snorkel in peace. It is important for our visitor to know that La Guaira is a very little town in a rural place sorrounded by mountains. Just behind the cottage there is tropical forest where people who loves nature will enjoy. If you scaled the mountain you can have a spectacular view of the island that is located in front of the house, or maybe you can observe toucans, macaws, howler bears, sloths or iguanas. You can also take a water taxi over to the island and have dinner in a several little restaurant or visit the famous Black Christ that is over the water. We recomend to those who think in cooking, to buy everything they need in supermarkets in the city because in La Guaira only will be able to find small shops offering basic things. Also we recommend to bring drinkable water. The water that supplies the house comes from the mountain. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday) La Guaira receives so many visitors from around and could the music annoy those who are looking to relax and enjoy only the sound of the sea. We therefore recommend that if this is your situation, better organize your stay in the place from Monday to Friday. Guest access To facilitate your arrival to the site we provide shuttle service. Airport-La Guaira-Airport for U.S. 100.00 each person with a stop in Portobello Ruins. Or depending on the number of people, the price could vary. You also can have a half day tour in a boat to Isla Mamey and mangroves "The Tunnel of Love" for US 80.00, the whole boat. La Guaira is 20 minutes from Portobelo, so you can visited this Historical place in a few minutes. Christopher Columbus's make his last voyage in 1502 and named this place "Portobelo Bay". The fortifications here were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980.
