MIKANGO GUESTHOUSE, SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK ZM

Mikango guesthouse is located in mfuwe village about 3km from the main gate of south luangwa national park. It is owned by Andrew Banda, a local freelance park guide , and is ideal for everyone from single travellers to families and large groups ( it sleeps up to 10) who want to visit the park without breaking the bank. It provides comfortable,secure,self catering accommodation. Guests are welcome to book additional activities. Andrew has a game viewing landrover and can take walking safaris. The space Mikango guesthouse is a perfect base for visiting south luangwa national park and Andrew,a local guide with over 15 years experience, can advise on what to do and arrange activities in his landrover. Activities cost $40 per person, which is cheaper than doing it through a lodge. Mikango guesthouse has five bedrooms with double or twin beds. All the beds are provided with mosquito nets, bedside lamps and fans. Two bedrooms are en suit (one with a hot tub) and we have two other shower rooms/bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hub and oven, fridge and chest freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, plates and cutlery. We also have a living space with sofas and a dining table.
