Nkumbe Bush Retreat Family Home Ponta Malangane

Enjoy our family's bush retreat situated in a diverse Eco-system 3 km in-land from Ponta Malangane. The house is tucked into a sand forest over looking a thriving wetland. The house has an African contemporary feel, featuring local Thonga and Zulu art. African hardwoods dominate the living and sleeping areas. The Eco-Estate is a stone's throw from world class beaches. Escape the craziness of Ponta do Oura and retire to the tranquility of the bush and be lulled to sleep with the sound of the sea! The space The house is open-plan and designed for entertaining with its granite counters and comes with plenty of glasses, crockery, cutlery, cookware, a gas stove, dishwasher, double door fridge freezer, chest deep freeze, drinks fridge, hot tray, gas braai, ceiling fans throughout and wash basins in all five bedrooms. There are 3 1/2 bathrooms. Outside is a fish cleaning area and down stairs is a bait deep freeze. On the front of the house is a fabulous, covered deck with a rim-flow pool overlooking the wetland which is home to many birds and some buck and zebra. The deck is furnished with wooden chairs, loungers, a day bed and a long table with benches. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and the washing machine . There is a lovely big Umdoni tree in the garden with sweeping lawns and swings for kiddies. Being an Eco-Estate guests are permitted to go for walks on the paths through the sand forest to spot birds and game and enjoy the flora and fauna. Other things to note While good, clean fun is encouraged "Nkumbe Bush Retreat" is not suited for groups intent on partying. There is plenty of accommodation available in Ponta do Ouro that would better suit that kind of holiday. Voices and music carry so absolutely no loud music and all noise to cease at 10 pm. As a guest you will have to comply with the Nkumbe Wildlife Estate rules and regulations. Do not dig up plants or litter or you shall be fined. Parent please be aware that the rim flow pool on the deck is not fenced and the deck is 2 meters off the ground. Nkumbe is a really special place with spectacular wildlife and a delicate eco system, we welcome anyone into our home who respects nature.
