The Woodland Retreat is a peaceful Forest Oasis eco-retreat set amongst pine, ash and maple trees. Enjoy all the comforts you need in a creative outdoor setting. Our new star gazer Geodesic Dome features everything you need for a memorable and comfy stay. Enjoy a deluxe composting toilet, hot water shower under the stars and outdoor kitchen. We are located in the Heart of the Niagara Escarpment. Enjoy waterfalls, hiking trails, rivers, and Beaches. All within 5 minutes of the Town of Meaford. The space Glamping is a way to connect with nature without compromising your comfort in any way. The Woodland retreat is for those who are looking to get away, enjoy the outdoors and unplug from the business of life. We are excited to share our upgraded 20’ stargazer geodesic dome for 2025! A perfect location for a honeymooners, romantic getaways, nature lovers, hikers, bikers, kayakers, artists, yogis, musicians, adventure seekers or anyone who is looking for a quiet retreat or an outdoor adventure. This is not the place to come to party and be noisy. This is a place to be one with nature. Our dome is artfully and rustically decorated, with thoughtful detail that blends right into its natural surroundings. We ask that all who come are mindful and respectful of their surroundings, nature and wildlife. There are outlets for charging phones etc in both the tent and the kitchen. The glamping space is set back from our house and close to the neighbouring woodland retreat bunkie. The bunkie is close enough for a double date get away and far enough away that each space feels private. Guest access The entire clearing ( over half an acre) is yours to enjoy which includes a deluxe outdoor kitchen, fire pit, private toilet and shower and sitting area. There is the neighbouring woodland retreat guest bunkie and ask that guests please respect our neighbours and not wander beyond their alloted space. Other things to note * kitchen upgrade includes a bbq, Coleman stove, mini fridge, coffee maker and kettle. * basic kitchen necessities are provided including coffee, tea, sugar, honey, creamer, salt, pepper and oil. * options for guided nature walks, healing sessions, and Jewellery studio tour. please message before arriving to book something ;) *Please let us know if you are celebrating an anniversary or honeymoon so we can leave something special for you. Please note that there is no car access to the back and you will need to walk any of your belongings to the back (a very short walk) We will provide you with a wagon for heavier items.
