We are located in the Shimba Hills. The cottage is located in its own private space, uniquely positioned on a cliff top with a fantastic view of Mwaluganje Sanctuary 1200 feet below. The cottage was recently built and is furnished with a superb kitchen and private dining room, a fireplace for the colder months and a fantastic private veranda. On the Veranda, the table which can comfortably seat four people has a secret BBQ built into the middle. The bedroom with a queen bed and air conditioner has incredible 180-degree views of the game reserve below. There is an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower with views across the game park. You have private access to your cottage or you can use this property if you are part of a larger group enjoying the main house. There is a safe pathway with lighting between the properties. Note: It is necessary to descend a short set of stairs to access the cottage. The host, John Spouse, lives in a separate house elsewhere on the 40 hectare property. The house is approximately a 40-minute drive from the Likoni Ferry in Mombasa and a 40-minute drive from Diani Beach. Moi International Airport is two to three hours, depending on traffic. We are 15 minutes from a local shopping center Kwale where you can easily get groceries. From Pumzika to the local shop, there are available motorbikes. Also we provide a car that guest can fuel and use. Finally we have bicycles that guest use to move around the neighbourhood. This property is exceptionally private and enjoys an immersive interaction with the game park. This is a bird-watchers paradise with an unobscured view of the game park.
