Upscale furnishings and amenities. Bee Cave #1 is the French Loft Room with a high queen bed, padded headboard, and table lamp. This room enjoys grey and white french laundry toile textiles, and plenty of storage space for hanging and folded clothes. It has three original but functioning windows, built-in radiator heat, and new central air conditioning and heat. It shares a full shower with white linens, french themed porcelain accessories and a heavy designer cut glass waste bin under a lovely opening window. There is a portable fan in the bathroom, as well as a small stock of toiletries. Most of the house is open for wandering and relaxing. The host request that the master bedroom, the library, and the solarium office on the first floor be respected as private areas. Of course, if other guests are in residence, their bedrooms are to be respected as well. If we are around, we can be helpful (upon request)! Ambler and Fort Washington are filled with natural beauty, entertainment, and great places to eat, drink, and shop. A bus stops in front of the Bee Cave. Two SEPTA stations within a walk. There is a flexible escape ladder in the hall closet of the third floor that can be used as a fire escape via a window. There is not an exterior exit from the second floor. There is a grand "public" staircase between the first two floors, as well as a small "back stairs" with an electric chair rail between the kitchen and the second floor and another flight of stairs between the second and third floors. Either stairs are open to guests.
