Welcome to Yiannis Cove, midway between Acadia National Park and Schoodic Point, 7 miles east of Ellsworth, Maine. This waterfront retreat on 15 acres offers a private 2nd floor suite in a home with stunning water views. We offer the perfect balance of seclusion and proximity, allowing you to unwind while remaining conveniently close to all Acadia's Park attractions. This tranquil setting earns its name as the Land of Tranquility, providing a serene escape within reach of everything nearby. The space The Private Suite is located on the 2nd floor. It contains a separate room with a King size bed and a fully enclosed outdoor sitting room overlooking the water. The main room consists of a queen size bed with water views (with privacy curtain). The overall suite contains a full bathroom an indoor sitting area with refrigerator, table, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Guest highspeed fiber optic internet access is also included. If you desire to have additional guests beyond 4 guests there are an additional two bedrooms and a full bathroom also available on the 2nd floor to accommodate your needs. Maximum capacity for entire 2nd floor is 8 persons (@$85 per person). Guest access Feel free to make yourself at home! Guests are welcome to use the living room, kitchen and enclosed deck dining room, and all common areas on the first floor including the outdoor deck with its awesome views! (Exception for owners master bedroom). Enjoy the outdoor areas and firepit to make your stay fun, comfortable and convenient. During your stay Welcome to our home! You'll also find a private dock by the water—an ideal spot to relax and spend quality time. Feel free to make yourself at home! Other things to note The owners are Yianni and Eleni who recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2023. They have three adult children and eight grandchildren that reside in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Illinois. Yianni loves sharing Greek poetry like the Illiad or Odyssey with guests and enjoys delving into various aspects of Greece and local attractions in Acadia.
