Dive deep into Laos. We have two houses in a small village in the North of Laos that are open for visitors. You can live among the people of the village who are happy to teach your various crafts such as dyeing and weaving. There are likely no other visitors there as we are a little off the beaten track. We are glad to cook for your, organize hikes to villages that are even more remote than hours. The accomodation price on Airbnb inlcudes delicious breakfast and dinner! The space It is a traditional house made from wood and amenities are simple. There is a shower and western style toilet. Everything is simple. We keep things clean but and functional. Guest access You can take a bus to Nong Khiaw. Here we can organize pick you up by mini-bus (per bus is roughly 20 USD paid to the driver). You can also visit us directly if you have motorbike or car of course. Other things to note Things we can organize for you while you are here: Hiking through the Laotion Alps exploring waterfalls and ancient cave and remote mounatin communities Learn how to to plan dyeing from a local masters. We only use ingrdients growung around our houses. Weaving on our hundred years old looms (no electricity). This is how woven textiles have been made for centuries. Of course you can enjoy great fresh food, all from vegtable and animals of our village. For each activity we ask you to pay locals directly, each activity is not expensive, no-middle men, and it support them doing what they love. We charge 32 USD for whole day activity and and 20 USD for half day - both inlcude lunch. (Please not that nobody has credit card reader here).
