The house is located on the south fork of the American river in Coloma, California. We are just downstream from Coloma State Park where gold was discovered. There are amazing trails nearby to hike, bike, or horseback ride. You can put on the river right from the house and raft 15 miles downstream through the Gorge section, or float down from farther upstream on the famous Chili Bar section of rapids, but lots of folks just like to float around in the pool out front and take it all in! Lots of wonderful outdoor living space with over 1000' of deck overlooking the river. We have three bedrooms total, 2 bedrooms in the main house with the two bathrooms, and one separate room accessed via the deck. Each bedroom has doors that open onto the deck.
