Tranquil, Art-Filled Pineapple Pool Loft

"The Nuthouse" is a family home sited on a ridge overlooking Eastern Rd, Nassau. We offer a pool, BBQ, both outdoor dining and lounge areas. Your studio apartment is ground-floor with direct access to the pool and patio. It is a quiet, peaceful place for reading, sun bathing, BBQing and relaxing. It is ideal for a couple, two friends or a couple with 2 kids; no more then 6 adults allowed on the property, no parties. The space Direct access to the pool and patio, with an outdoor shower, outdoor living room, dining area and BBQ makes it the space for outdoor living. It's a VERY quiet neighbourhood and is perfect for decompressing, getting away from disturbances and devices (there is NO TV! Just fast Wifi for your own devices). The owners, Amanda and Uli, live upstairs in the separate, main part of the home. Both husband and wife are art professionals, so your loft is filled with original Caribbean artworks, as well as books about Bahamian art, culture and history. The kitchen is limited: not great for experimental chefs (hot plate, toaster oven, microwave). Importantly, there is a back-up generator, so even with Nassau's frequent power outages, Pineapple Pool Studio will always be powered up! The space is small but sweet but it absolutely CANNOT HANDLE large groups. Kitchen is very limited! You will be charged extra if more people than you booked for show up or you throw a daytime pool party. Guest access You will need a car or scooter as it is in a semi-country residential neighbourhood. Everything is close, but not walkable as there are no sidewalks. Buses exist but are unreliable. There is free, safe parking on our gated property and you will be provided with your own gate clicker. Lost clicker is $50 fee. Other things to note You MUST be okay with dogs and please NO PETS of your own. Ours roam the property and sometimes cool off in the pool! Kids are welcome but you have to be a parent who is relaxed around dogs, pools, stairs, etc. Our kids grew up here but we were super laissez-faire parents and it is not "baby-proofed" at all; they are alive and well! There is NO TV, just high speed Wifi for your own devices. Kitchen is limited: hotplate, microwave, countertop toaster-oven only! Lastly, we have a generator, which is a big deal as there are frequent power outages on the island. Pineapple Pool Studio will never be without power!
