A small and unique house located in the winding streets of Ilha de Mocambique. Perfectly located to easily access the beach (5 mins) and restaurants that the Island has to offer. Far from loud sounds of motorbikes with a peaceful garden with a coral altar looking onto an acacia tree. Outdoor kitchen with two bedrooms both with AC for hot nights. The space The space is very peaceful and cozy with the main door opening directly into the garden, walking in on some beautiful original tilestones from the 1800's. The garden has a beautiful altar built by goan bricklayers brought by the portuguese to the island specifically to build these types of altars. The walls of the house are very high, common in a lot of arabic cities in order to keep the space cool and shaded from the sun. The second door opens to a hall way which then leads into the first bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a shower. The hallway then leads to the open kitchen with bougavilias and a locally made kitanda. After the kitchen is the access to the second bedroom is the master bedroom with a double bed and bathroom with a shower. Guest access Parking is available on the praca, the car can come into the strees but the space is very tight, and you will have to reverse to get out as there is no exit on the other side. It is recommended to park in the praca and bring things in by hand. Other things to note Be careful that the doors inside close automatically and without the key you will not be able to get back in. It is best to leave the key in the door of the master bedroom in order to make sure not to be locked out.
