Open verandah offering lounge area as well as an additional dining table and chairs with a breathtaking view over the game-rich banks of the Otjiaha Lake. Watch Waterbuck swim across the lake while Black Wildebeest, Kudu, Impala, Oryx, Eland, Warthog and Giraffe, to mention but a few species, drink and graze at the water’s edge. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove/oven and fridge and freezer. An open boma under the stars as well as braai area in the courtyard, this is a unique and beautiful self-contained safari retreat. Game viewing drives can be arranged on request with the resident safari guide and host, Kobus. Guest access Guests will have access to entire lodge apart from caretakers living area. Other things to note The remoteness of the lodge means that we will have to be in contact prior to your stay to give a detailed description of how to get here. The lodge is situated 119km out of the capital Windhoek. You will need a 4x4 to get to the lodge, but we have secure parking for non 4x4 vehicles at the entrance of the land and we can drive you to the lodge.
