The space By choosing to stay at the Olivewood Inn, you will experience a shift in place and time; let's say 19th century Italy. Built in the late 1920s, this European dream home features Italian marble floors, an ornate turreted stairway with painted ceiling, and unique "state of the art" vintage bathrooms in each guest room, which are located on the second floor (guests must climb 20 steps). The lower level is the headquarters of the Tree of Life Cultural Foundation, and may be rented out for various events, such as weddings, bridal showers, business meetings, book clubs, etc. The Oak Room has a double bed and private bathroom. Guest access In addition to their designated room, guests are invited to visit the library/reading room, which is a relaxing sitting room where continental breakfast is provided each morning. Please note, long term rentals may not include breakfast. During your stay Host is usually available to meet guest at check in. Otherwise, host is in and out, and may not see the guests very often, depending on the day of week. Other things to note In addition to the guest rooms, the building is also host to a music store and music lesson space. Students and parents will likely be around during weekday afternoons and early evenings. This should not affect your stay.
